Dear A SPECIAL DAY,

I got a lot of compliments from my guests on how you did the shooting and how professional you were and everybody could tell you were just great photographers.  The way you set all the poses...it was all, well done!

I love the photograph of Ross and myself in the hotel, with the misty and romantic look with the soft focus lens.  It's light, romantic, warm, fuzzy and gives you a good feeling when you look at it.  Your photography style is a combination of fun, adventurous, romantic...very versatile, very good.

The photography cost real money but it was definitely worth it.  If you skimp on the wedding photography you'll regret it for the rest of your life.  My sister had a bad experience and told me where you should spend the money is on the photographer because those memories are going to last for the rest of your life.  She had one of those low cost photographers and the pictures didn't turn out well and they tried later to make up shots.  How horrible!  You lose the moment and the wedding-you just can't recreate it.  I'd recommend A SPECIAL DAY to every bride.

Dear A SPECIAL DAY,

The reason we chose A SPECIAL DAY is because of the artistry and the composition of your photos and the fact that you are not rigid.  You are not afraid to take risks.  We wanted something that was unique, different and artistic.  What we liked best about our photographs of our wedding was the quality and the extra effort that you go to make sure that the pictures are artistic and high quality.  

We liked the options of of using infrared film,, color film and black and white.  It gave a nice vintage antique look.  We also liked the wide angle shots of the church and the fact that A SPECIAL DAY was really flexible because we had some ideas of specific shots we wanted done and so you really worked with us to give us what we wanted.  Anything we wanted you were willing to work with us to give it to us.

When you took our pictures it definitely captured the 'romance of the day.'  You made us feel comfortable enough that we both looked natural.  The pictures captured our enjoyment of the day and our feelings for each other.  

The way you combined some posed types of shots that you knew would work along with some less posed make a nice combination...also taking advantage of a very nice soft day in Oregon and the trees that were around the church to photograph us.  You did a really nice job of capturing the beauty of our Lake Oswego Church.

I thought the pictures by A SPECIAL DAY made us look better than we actually are!  On the wedding day everyone is stressed out. A SPECIAL DAY photographer helped us relax and took relaxed pictures with the setting and made them look good in the portraits that we will put on our walls.

The pictures by A SPECIAL DAY helped bring back the memories of that day and that's important because its only one day.  Your pictures bring back memories of that day which I thought were pretty special.

I'm especially happy with some of the photographs that you made for us of our wedding day that I've never seen any other photographer do for any other bride!  The shots outside of us at the tress were really nice and so is the wide angle shot from behind us at the reception showing all our guests.

A SPECIAL DAY brought out our mood and helped bring out our feelings for each other and the romance we felt.  The pictures bring back the memories of the day, the romance, the excitement.  It makes me want to see the pictures you made for us over and over again because I get the same feelings of closeness between my new husband and I.

My new mother and law held a party to show the pictures I bought from you.  Everyone came to tears when they saw the pictures because it brought out the feelings we had and all our family members had on that special day. You captured it all for our family.

It was so hard to pick out pictures to buy because they all turned out so well.

Dear A SPECIAL DAY,

The variety of the shots were gorgeous, there were no canned shots.  I liked how you went out and pre thought where the shots should be.  I liked your truly unique wide angle shot of our wedding ceremony. 

On a day when my wife felt absolutely horrible, you made her look like the drop dead gorgeous woman that she is.  The final pictures are absolutely gorgeous and I really, really, really like them.

It's apparent that our investment in A SPECIAL DAY was the right thing to do.  The other photographers we considered hiring were cheaper but the photographs weren't nearly as dramatic.  There was one thing we were told before we got married,  you can skimp on anything else, your cake, your dress, the food but DO NOT skimp on your photographer.  He's recording all your wedding memories for the rest of your life.

You are very professional.  You put in a lot of time and effort into it and it is very apparent that you care what you're doing.  It's not just a job to you.  It's not just an income to you.  

I do believe you really want to give your brides those memories for a lifetime.
