  my husband and I paid a total of 12,500 to Gary Bertoni for his services on a case. We paid 8-1-2008 $2000 8-4-2008 $2000 Sept. 26th 2008 $4500 2-9-2009 $500 I Michelle Rudolph signed over the bond of $2500 to Gary Bertoni and than a family member gave her credit card for $1000. The initial deposit was for $7000 to handle the case without going to trial as soon as we got closer to the trial date he insisted on the rest of the money to go to trial. So we paid the rest.

The case did not go to trial and the agreement stated the monies would be returned if it didn't go to trial and the money has not been returned.

I talked to Gary a week after trial and he stated that his accounting haven't finished the paper work. I have been ignored since no returning of my phone calls, So I called Rebecca in accounting she said it is sitting on Gary's desk waiting for approval so I have requested the billed hours and they have not gave us that neither. I have been calling everyday and now I can't get anyone on the phone and no one will return my phone calls. I had called the court and there was no pre tial motion filed of anything on the case so I want to know what he used the money for. My husband is suppose to be payng fees for probation and other expenses so he knew that he needed that money back as soon as possible.
