I moved to NY b/c of a Stalker and I told Mr. Cathcart and his secretary Robin Smith, and before I left to NY I called Mr. Cathcarts office at least 6-7 times and left messages,with no return call on my friends cell phone , home phone in front of my friend and her husband and I came in several times in person to talk to Mr.Cathcart and although, he was there in the next room with the door open, not available, so I spoke with his secretary Robin Smith for about 25 minutes minimum an I gave my message number of 503-669-8544 and I wrote out my permission to have all correspondence mailed to 3791 SE Division St. Gresham, OR 97030 c/o my best friend's Lee and Christy Nelson and I did not hear from Mr. Cathcart until December 2008. In January I called Mr. Cathcart, and at that time he said we were settleing the case and I asked if I owed any bills and at first Mr.Cathcart lied and said no, so I said, I will call and find out and then he said $800. or so and I said , I will ca!
ll tommorow to WSCC and then, Mr, Cathcart said, he will call the Insurance company to try to get more money, and I said, I dont want to owe any bills, and you should have worked on this while I was in Oregon, he had two years to do this , but thats another matter I had lost wages and out of pocket expenses and one of my medical bills went to collections and Mr. Cathcart never considered any of these expense before he made thesettlement, this was arrangements, and I believe he was planning on keeping the entire check by what he has been doing since I have been in NY .
I knew somthing was wrong when I recieved the certified letter from Mr. Cathcart just a few days after I spoke with him, he didnt give me time to contact WSCC , long distance, and he certainly wasnt going to help , so with working full-time and 1 break of 15 minutes and a 30 minute lunch break , 3 hours ahead, and not one day the same, I had a difficult time contacting WSCC and the other medical providers to find out my balance, and I still have 2 more providers, but Mr. Cathcart is in a hurry. The letter statedg that Hoyt Limited Partnership has aggreed to settle for $6200.00 inclusive of my bills,however the check was for $7500.00 and I thought this was for me and then I emailed Mr. Cathcart and he said that he called the Insurance company and got an extra $1300.00 and now his fee had jumped to $2500.00 and that's when I felt in my gut that Mr. Cathcart is a liar and a was never going to pay me, b/c he said something to the Insurance company about my bills not getting!
paid, however; Mr. Cathcart didnt care that I was stuck with bills and he certainly didnt remember my lost wages. On March 19, 2009 I recieved documents from Mutlnomah County Courthouse the Mr. Cathcart is suing me Lisa Owen aka Samantha Winters and there are several lies, Mr. Cathcart is stating in January 4, 2009, that I signed a document for this lawsuit, I only sighned I recieved the certified letter,I am in NY , I have not seen Mr. Cathcart since August of 2008.and I did not sign his signature which he accuses of me doing , knowing full well that I have already communicated through email, that I did not and would not sign his signature. Mr. Cathcart has lied so many times, he doesnt remember what he says or does, and I have copies of his first letters stating that we are settling for $6200.00 and this new lawsuit now says $6800.00 and some change. Furthermore, when I had hired Mr. Cathcart, the first thing that I said was that I want to be reinbursed for my medical !
