Attention: Investigations  2.10.2007

Pursuant to my duties as an Attorney at Law, I hereby file the following two complaints regarding your bar members Kim Tucker and James S. Coon of the Portland law firm of Swanson, Thomas and Coon. As I understand the facts, these attorneys were hired by Oregon citizen ***  ******* to represent her before the Social Security Administration.

1. Kim Tucker and James S. Coon the Portland law firm of Swanson, Thomas and Coon have a duty to keep their client informed as to the progress of their case. Their client telephoned the Portland law firm of Swanson, Thomas and Coon and asked for an update and was told either that they would call her back, or that a new attorney had been assigned to the case and no one knew what the status of her case but they never called back.

She called back again and nothing happened. She called back again and nothing happened. She called back again and another happened. She called back again and nothing happened. Indeed, she called the Portland law firm of Swanson, Thomas and Coon to inquire as to the progress of her case and attorney Tucker, Coon nor any other has telephoned her back with any progress report.

2. Furthermore, this law firm as it continues to title itself the Portland law firm of Swanson*, Thomas and Coon
is apparently misrepresenting itself to the public
.

The attorney Douglas A. Swanson was murdered, after working as a lawyer during the day, attending a PTA meeting with his wife and then traveling to have elicit sex with a prostitute.

He is thus no longer a member of that law firm and thus his name must be taken off of the letterhead. Alternatively, to remedy this intentional fraud by the Portland law firm of Swanson, Thomas and Coon, on their letterhead they should place an asterisk by Douglas A. Swanson’s name and state, *“Murdered by a prostitute and her pimp while seeking illicit sex, 2004”. Otherwise, the letterhead and the website representation to the public is inaccurate and the name Douglas A. Swanson should be removed to end this fraud/misrepresentation to the Social Security claimant clientele that Douglas A. Swanson is a member of the Portland law firm of Swanson, Thomas and Coon.

1 Swanson, 51, a married man, telephoned a sex for hire prostitute and her pimp on Oct 19, 2004. The prostitute and pimp then murdered attorney Swanson of the Portland law firm of Swanson, Thomas and Coon.

2 The term 'fraud' is generally defined in the law as an intentional misrepresentation of material existing fact (Swanson, although murdered while seeking the services of a prostitute) made by one person (Coon, et al.) to another with knowledge of its falsity (Coon knows that Swanson was murdered by a prostitute and knows that Swanson is not a member of the law firm) and for the purpose of inducing the other person to act, (hire the Portland law firm of Swanson, Thomas and Coon) and upon which the other person relies with resulting injury or damage. [Fraud may also include an omission or intentional failure to state material facts, knowledge of which would be necessary to make other statements not misleading.]
