Social Security Judge Dan is a racist

Ethical misconduct by ALJ Dan R. Hyatt (Dan ) Administrative Law Judge for US Social Security Administration, Portland Oregon

Dan was the sitting ALJ in the first hearing as well as subsequent hearings.  I found Dan 's demeanor as hostile about the first comment he made in which he accused me of trying to commit fraud because my spouse (of a different race than my own) had filed a claim for SSI.  Both of us had (applied for disability) after our doctor instructed (us to file a Disability Claim).  Dan went onto outright degrade me as if he had read some bad press about me. 

The real insult to me was when he made irresponsible comments concerning my ("white trash" spouse), and then continued to talk to me as if I had no intellectual capacity. (Social Security Judge Dan R. Hyatt called her "white trash" because she was married to a black man.)

 Dan R. Hyatt stated to my spouse and I that he had a problem with interracial marriage and he made no attempt to hide his contempt for us.  He concluded that even though I obviously had epilepsy, I could still go and be a janitor.  I'm a paramedic/Field Training Officer.

I can't believe this man, Dan R. Hyatt , could sit there and insult me in my face.  He spoke to me as if I were common trash! as he told my spouse she was! 

"I think you're trying to commit fraud so I'm going to deny you," said Dan R. Hyatt . (after my medical doctor told me I was disabled and needed to file for my Social Security benefits)  The true motive, Dan R. Hyatt is a racist. He doesn't like interracial marriages and he sure didn't like to see the new baby that this black and white couple had in the wives arms.  (Social Security judge Dan R. Hyatt therefore also has a racist hatred for Democrat President Candidate Barack Obama...a product of a white mother and a black father-an "interracial couple" as Judge Dan R. Hyatt puts it.)

(at spouse's hearing I brought my MRI as Dan R. Hyatt requested)  When I brought them up to him at his request, Dan R. Hyatt took them and handed them right back.  All the evidence and ethical misconduct that had transpired at the previous hearings.  We couldn't understand Dan R. Hyatt 's aggressive behavior towards us.

(Dan R. Hyatt; what is the source of his alleged racial prejudice?  He reveals that his son married a Korean woman.  Could this be the reason for his alleged racial bigotry?)

Lawyer Wilborn is part of an interracial marriage and attorney Bernath is part of an interracial marriage. 
On separate occasions, Social Security Judge Dan R. Hyatt called Wilborn "an asshole" and called attorney Bernath, "a moron."

ALJ Dan R. Hyatt , a Social Security judge, tells a black woman that she is "common trash"
and as he wears his black judge's robe and sits under the Social Security Administration seal says that he has "a problem with interracial couples."

Dan R. Hyatt is a hearing officer (ALJ) currently employed by the Social Security Administration. I am writing a story on him and would like your comment for the story.

According to every definition, Dan R. Hyatt is a racist. According to a complaint to the Oregon State Bar on March 9, 2007 Dan R. Hyatt said to a Portland interracial couple that I have a "PROBLEM WITH INTERRACIAL MARRIAGE". Thereafter he accused the paramedic of "fraud" after the paramedic’s doctor told claimant to file a Social Security claim because he was disabled. Dan R. Hyatt is aggressive, insulting and demeaning after he discovered that claimant was part of an interracial couple.

The Oregon State Bar received this complaint about Dan R. Hyatt ’s racism and has done nothing even though his racist comments violate the Rules of Professional Conduct .

I have also contacted the Social Security Regional Chief Judge and he has not had the opportunity as yet to comment. Apparently Dan R. Hyatt has not informed the Social Security Administration of his bias against people who are not of his race.

I have inquired of the Social Security Administration if Dan R. Hyatt with his extra judicial bias should be permitted to remain in his job as hearing officer against Social Security disability claimants, especially in light of the fact that these people are in the midst of a life or death struggle and many of them are so destitute that they live on the streets and beg for food after a lifetime of employment and paying into the Social Security Administration.
