Re: Dan R. Hyatt, Oregon State Bar Member

Unprofessional conduct of Dan R. Hyatt

Tammy C. Mohr suffered the indignity of a hearing presided over by Dan R. Hyatt.  Of course he was overruled and the case has been assigned to a different judge for a hearing for November 2008.

Writes claimant; “I can honestly say that the judge (Dan R. Hyatt) has made me extremely worse and more suicidal.”  (Page -1- attached)

This is the case where Hyatt went off the record and said that no matter what was wrong with the claimant that he would disallow benefits (even if that contradicted his oath to support and defend the Constitution and the follow the laws and regulation).  (see attached notes Page -2-  Tape will be supplied if OSB requests it)

I believe Dan R. Hyatt exhibits mental disorders that require he be immediately removed from office and disbarred because of the harm that he is causing citizens and because of his misbehavior that is tearing down the image of the Social Security Administration. I refer to Dan R. Hyatt’s out of control rage against employees of the Social Security Administration office in Astoria Oregon on March 15, 2007.  By September 2007 the workers at the field officer were still in an uproar by Dan R. Hyatt.

Hyatt was yelling at the Social Security workers in public, in the field office parking lot as they returned from lunch.  “He was demanding and degrading and nasty to the women who work there. All they kept saying to him was that they had nothing to do with the hearings and couldn’t help him."

"(The Social Security worker who took my new application) felt so strongly that she asked me to include (information of Dan R. Hyatt’s hissy fit in public before several social security workers and the public) in my letter to you (the Appeals Counsel).  She said that this Judge should not have been abusing me.  That’s not how things should work.”

I hereby file a new complaint against Dan R. Hyatt for abusing and terrorizing the Social Security workers at the Astoria field office in the public parking lot on March 15, 2007.

As claimant has informed you before, after being abused by Dan R. Hyatt and being informed (off the record by Hyatt) that no matter how disabled she was that she would not get her disability, claimant began preparations for her suicide.  “When I got his letter of denial, I drove to the ocean to drowned (sic) myself.  My mother found me.  I ended up at Williapa Mental Health.  It didn’t matter (to Dan R. Hyatt) what the truth was.  (lines through this sentence)  Hyatt had also said he was saving society from me.  Wow, what a fair man.”  (page 5)

Again, to protect the public you must investigate this apparent mental impairment of Dan R. Hyatt and he must be removed from office and must be disbarred so he will not harm Oregon and Washington citizens in the future.

 Respectfully,

 Daniel A. Bernath
